🔒 Short version: We don't sell your data. We don't store your files. We don't track you across the web. Your privacy matters to us.
1. Information We Collect
Files you upload: When you use our PDF tools, files are temporarily uploaded to our servers for processing. All uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted within 1 hour of processing. We never read, analyze, share or store the content of your files.
Image tools: Our image tools (resize, compress, crop, convert etc.) process files entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your image files never leave your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Usage data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics including pages visited, time spent on pages, browser type, device type and general geographic location (country level). This data contains no personally identifiable information.
Contact information: If you contact us via email or our contact form, we collect your email address and message content solely to respond to your inquiry.
2. How We Use Information
- To process your files and deliver results to you
- To improve our tools and user experience based on anonymous usage patterns
- To respond to support requests and feedback
- To monitor service performance and detect technical issues
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling or any purpose beyond operating and improving PeachPDF.
3. File Security
All file uploads are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption during transfer. Files processed on our servers are stored in isolated temporary storage and automatically deleted within 1 hour. We do not back up, archive or retain copies of any user files.
4. Cookies
We use minimal cookies to operate our service:
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics uses cookies to track anonymous usage statistics. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Functional cookies: Essential cookies required for the website to function properly. These cannot be disabled.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party marketing cookies.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics — Anonymous website usage statistics
- Hostinger — Web hosting and infrastructure
- Cloudflare CDN — Content delivery for JavaScript libraries
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.
6. Children's Privacy
PeachPDF is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PeachPDF after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
